This is a most excellent tribute album to a most excellent band. It's got the best bands unfortunate enough to be called metalcore covering one of the best hardcore bands of all time. The great thing is all of these bands are such accomplished musicians they can appropriately transform the song. The best at this is Converge of course, Annihilate This Week sounds like a Converge song, period. Plus American Nightmare, Coalesce, Planes Mistaken For Stars, and Burnt By The Sun among others.
Ha, I once got in a crazy heated E-Bay war trying to win this on four limited edition seven inches, I didn't win. But I did get the twelve inch......oh the days of vinyl hunting....
