Alright alright Juicy J has been doing it hard as of the last two or so years and Lex Luger has taken the world by storm with his steroid-times-a-million-crunk-on-elm street-super-future shit. No lie I love Lex Luger it's damn near perfect in my mind. Now, it's not like they have done anything they didn't do on the last one, and I can understand how some might get old of Juicy J's modus operandi. Which literally is Weed, Pills, Pussy and Guns ONLY over and over and over and over again. Surely not for everyone, but before you hate, throw this in the best car stereo system you have access to and bomb down the highway with a car full of friends and tell me it doesn't do the damn trick. For all those who have ignored Three Six Mafia since their television show, grammy, and LolliPop song I would advise you to check out the last couple of Juicy J mixtapes, not gonna speak so much for DJ Paul but Juicy J is on some next shit, as far as 'trap music' he's definitely perfected the method. I picked it up off DatPiff but there are other mixtape sites with it up....WE TRIPPY MANE

This dude is relatively prolific and pretty damn reliable, I actually like this one more than I did the last LP...I prefer when he's not singing on the tracks, cuz then it's kinda like second-rate PandaBear but the girls on this are good, and the beats seem to be a little dancier good ish all-around.

Penetration Panthers Seven Inch To Come Out On A389 Records

If the blog has been neglected its cuz all of us have been having a pretty fruitful real-world. In January the Penetration Panthers recorded twelve songs in Costa Mesa California, three of those songs are gonna be released on a seven inch coming out on A389 sometime in the near future keep checking back, anyways plans for a full length by the end of the year and some dates around California and the Northwest this summer, here's a lil' taste of what we've cooked up, Lipstick and Leather is on the seven inch but the version on Youtube is a demo from a couple years back, Wasted Mind is from the sessions earlier this year. Yeah im diggin this band haaard, one of the many Last.fm finds over the last year that I haven't really kept the blog informed. For a while now I have been on this suuuuper chill Balearic quasi-heaven Quaaluude fluffy stuff trip if you can swallow what im shootin, I don't know it's like my ears need physical therapy after subjecting them to years of teen angst and mid-2000's screamy skronky wankery(that's looking at you 31g and GSL) Ive dug on Air France, and the chillwavers like Washed Up(real good live at FYF last year beeteedub) and even some minimalist weirdness ala DJ Sprinkles...but what ive really always been wanting is Keep Shelly In Athens....this is it folks. You can see the steam rise from the sewers of a darklit and damp street circa 3am with possibe ladies of the night ducking into alleys and an old man coughing or so...basically it creates a whole world super cinematic inside your head. It also makes me want to get down on some real weird romance like taking a bunch of Diazepam and just laying in bed with a girl for like days straight not doing a damn thing, barely knowing either of us are there, doesn't that sound tight? i wish i had literally months of my life to blow on super silly projects like that.

annnnnywaaaaaaays research up on this band, and America! lose your pretensions so we can all live on the Iberian Coast of the mind! and also don't find any of Europe's pretensions either.

Balam Acab - Free Etherea yeah so apparently these are demos, odds and sods...some good ish, some of it is a little redundant but still a good listen....Drop it Like it's Hot is a highlight for me....I don't post much or substantively....deal with it
