CRIMESCENE MERCH has put up shirts to correlate with all of the Cult of The Seven Crowns releases that came out on A389 earlier this month, the Penetration Panthers seven inch is available on clear vinyl with pink swirls real radical, and all that Gehenna related ish is fucking choice as hell you should stop by A389 and scope around they just dropped a bunch of stuff that has never really been heard except for by small circles of people in darklit rooms and copious wafts bongsmoke. All the stuff is out on Itunes too if you are so inclined....I tell you what I never expected something I recorded to be on Itunes but thats the modern world for you I suppose.

Rubba Band Business Pt. 2
Alright alright Juicy J has been doing it hard as of the last two or so years and Lex Luger has taken the world by storm with his steroid-times-a-million-crunk-on-elm street-super-future shit. No lie I love Lex Luger it's damn near perfect in my mind. Now, it's not like they have done anything they didn't do on the last one, and I can understand how some might get old of Juicy J's modus operandi. Which literally is Weed, Pills, Pussy and Guns ONLY over and over and over and over again. Surely not for everyone, but before you hate, throw this in the best car stereo system you have access to and bomb down the highway with a car full of friends and tell me it doesn't do the damn trick. For all those who have ignored Three Six Mafia since their television show, grammy, and LolliPop song I would advise you to check out the last couple of Juicy J mixtapes, not gonna speak so much for DJ Paul but Juicy J is on some next shit, as far as 'trap music' he's definitely perfected the method. I picked it up off DatPiff but there are other mixtape sites with it up....WE TRIPPY MANE

If the blog has been neglected its cuz all of us have been having a pretty fruitful real-world. In January the Penetration Panthers recorded twelve songs in Costa Mesa California, three of those songs are gonna be released on a seven inch coming out on A389 sometime in the near future keep checking back, anyways plans for a full length by the end of the year and some dates around California and the Northwest this summer, here's a lil' taste of what we've cooked up, Lipstick and Leather is on the seven inch but the version on Youtube is a demo from a couple years back, Wasted Mind is from the sessions earlier this year. Keep Ruling Violently
schools out thank the gods, another semester fumbled
Hell yeah in the next coming weeks there will be a couple vinyl releases brought to you by the homies, on saturday the mighty VIOLENT RULER will be dropping their first full length, SWELLING THE MORGUE. In fact if MO woke up he should be fucking around with transparencies and diddlin' with layouts as I write. the release party is on SATURDAY in Reno at Jub Jubs Thirst Parlor. As it stands I don't know any information on pre-ordering and all that but I'll pass it along once it's passed along to me...
For the woefully uninitiated VIOLENT RULER is hands-down the best metal act in Reno, taking the best parts from 80's splicing it with the best of the 90's, then they smother it with drugs and let it bleed. In other words they are top-notch Thrash Metal unit that make bands like Toxic Holocaust look like a cheap after-school special in comparison. But don't take my word for it you can check out six songs right below. They also are in the process of recording some other other shit so yeah be on the lookout for that as well. I've also heard rumours of a West Coast tour this year, don't wanna give too much away, but itll more than likely beINFAMOUS, and it might get RAINY and they might take a Pro-wrestler with them....anyways keep your ears and eyes open.

Live Four Die Four
The newest Thrasher magazine has a little piece on Shake Junt and the memorial/skate jam that went down earlier this year in remembrance of Beau Shaver, local skate-legend/all-around BMF. It's a pretty good article and most definitely surreal to see local dudes get national recognition in the biggest skate magazine there is. Unfortunately Out of Bounds recently had to close their doors, which kind of makes this article bittersweet, since a large part of the skate scene here revolved around that store. But Reno iz resilient if nothing else, hopefully we can make the Shred 4 Shaver event an annual get down.
there's no sound on this video, but so just put on this Lil Gin track while you watch it...

Bathe in the Obscene
Happy Halloween everybody. I must say this year I am feeling the call of the ultra-violent and grotesque more than other years. Which is perfect because Brotha Lynch Hung signed to Strange Music, Tech 9's label. Now some of the more ignorant and uninformed might not see how any part of that story could be tight. But Brotha Lynch is one of the best that ever did it, and Tech 9 is definitely on the up and up, and I think it shows real character that he would extend a hand to Lynch in the midst of all his success....it's real good for Lynch because he has the most potential for exposure and all that than probably any point in his career. I feel he sees this oppurtunity and on his Strange Music debut he laid it the fuck down. Mark my words if you take all the shitty skits out
Dinner and A Movie' is one doozy of an album. I think that when Brotha Lynch raps about depression he is unequaled in ability to elaborate on the sickened mind. And as for the cannibal shit. well well well. I could intellectualize about what cannibalistic fantasies says about our culture. shit, you and i could intellectualize about anything in the world we wanted, but im gonna leave it short. If you are a fan of horror movies, than there is no way you can't like Brotha Lynch. you know "nuts, and guts and slabs of human meat motherfucker" if that doesnt excite your mind than we are different people and should stay to our different ways, that is fine. But I tell you, if you like Horror, then Dinner and a Movie is essential. And in the spirit of Halloween I will share a link to a new mixtape, I haven't had the chance to listen to it, so I can't quality control but it's a Strange Music affair and Im gonna assume that is a stamp of quality, and it's called Silent Supper so there is no question as to what the content is gonna be. Like I said, happy halloween. Boo!

The Grimeys (nSFw)
In it's short time in existence WSHH has become a major factor in the way hip-hop is disseminated among the masses. It's whole existence is blessed just by the simple fact that Gucci Mane's "Makin' Love To The Money" would never have been possible without a website like this. I no longer lament the passing of MTV/MTV2 because in the void something faaar better is coming to surface, and grimy-ass rap videos are just but one part of that.

For Those Who Fear Tomorrow: You Have No Idea
A whole lot of things in my world that I haven't really spoke upon, playing with a band again really stoked on that shit's starting to come together. Penetration Panthers, if I get my way you'll hear that name a lot more.
Last weekend we played down in SoCal for the Integrity/GEHENNA show at the Chain Reaction. That show was huge and I am real grateful that I got to be apart of it. It's always nice seeing people out in a about in other cities. If you are an aging punker feeling down and out I suggest getting out and going to a bigger show like that to remember what it's all about. Or at least what it's about sometimes. Earlier in the day we played a super secret show down the street. Penetration Panthers, Violent Ruler, Gehenna, Integrity, Slaughterhouse Death Kamp.....got super duper faded and had an all-around good time. I can't begin to describe how surreal it was to be apart of the weekend. Just thinking about what my 16year-old self would've thought about the whole thing makes me kind of laugh. I remember when Integrity played Reno like 7 years ago with Ringworm....never in a million years did I think I would play a show with them at some hole-in-the-wall bar in Anaheim California.
I was trippin out on how Integrity and GEHENNA are getting super popular again and I realized it's because the lyrics and the music and the overall affect of these bands is almost TOO relevant for our current state of affairs. Each day it becomes less and less likely that we will pull-out of our collective tail-spin into oblivion. Honestly we probably never had a chance this ship was sinking looong before I ever got here, and long before most people got here too. But in these last two years and especially this last 6 months it's becoming increasingly apparent that we are fucked. Then you think about bands like Integrity and GEHENNA and you start to feel their message and you realize that they have literally been SCREAMING at us for the last 20 years trying to wake the world up to the reality of our situation.
Not that you know I completely condone being an out-right motherfucker, being honest about who we/you are, and what's actually going on is a step in the right direction. And I must say Im glad to have dudes like the ones in GEHENNA to show me how to WIN in such a rotten world.
By The Way this video was filmed in Reno! Take that!
